The Denver Broncos will travel to London for the first time in a very long time this season. They face the Jaguars at Wembley Stadium on October 30.

For the first time since 2010, the Denver Broncos are heading back to London to play a regular season game at Wembley Stadium.

The NFL announced its international series for the 2022 regular season, and the Denver Broncos are finally part of it again. The Broncos were supposed to travel to London for a 2020 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons, but that never materialized due to the pandemic.

Denver Broncos taking on Jaguars in international series

You better have a good coffee spot, Broncos Country.

The Broncos will be taking on the Jacksonville Jaguars at 7:30 AM MT on October 30 for this Wembley matchup, one that is extremely exciting for the franchise and for the members of Broncos Country overseas, who have been waiting over a decade for this opportunity.

As it turns out, the timing couldn’t be more perfect for those fans as this will represent easily the best team the Broncos will have sent across the pond with Russell Wilson at the QB position.

Here’s an interesting programming note regarding this particular game.

If you are in the local Denver market, you’ll still be able to get the game without ESPN+, but for most everyone else, it looks like you’ll at the very least be burning your free trial on ESPN+ late in the month of October to watch this game.

The biggest positive about this game from a scheduling perspective?

The Denver Broncos aren’t the “home” team. Of course, the Jaguars have sort of become the primary team associated with London these days, but I think there is going to be a substantial representation of Broncos fans to make this, at the very least, a neutral environment if not a heavy Broncos crowd.

October 30th will be during Week 8 of the 2022 NFL season, and while this is speculation on my part, it’s almost guaranteed that the Denver Broncos’ bye week will immediately follow the trip to London. A Week 9 bye week would be absolutely ideal as that would put it smack in the middle of the 17-week season.
