Denver Broncos ideal scenario no. 3: Jerry Jeudy finally breaks out

This is another thing on the list that will be heavily related to Russell Wilson’s presence. The Denver Broncos had Teddy Bridgewater start the majority of the season in 2021 with Drew Lock starting three games because of Bridgewater’s concussion.

Jeudy finished the season scoring a grand total of zero touchdowns due to the quarterback play and several drops.

Wilson has gathered his teammates for throwing sessions already this offseason before the team gets together as a whole. Even though Jeudy was unable to attend, the effort the quarterback is putting in is phenomenal news for the second-year wide receiver. There will be a ton of time for the two to get together and practice route combos and getting used to each other.

The Broncos’ wide receiver group is stacked, with Jeudy, Courtland Sutton, Tim Patrick, and the return of K.J. Hamler (who suffered a torn ACL in September.) Hamler is progressing nicely, however.

I do think that Jeudy has a strong chance of being a tremendous wideout for the Broncos in 2022, but it will depend heavily on the rapport between him and Wilson. The AFC West has welcomed several key defenders that could make it difficult for the two to get going.

Despite that, I think that with training camp and extra throwing sessions, the combo of Wilson to Jeudy could be something special.
