As we enter the final few waves of free agency, which players are left on the market for the Denver Broncos to consider signing?

The biggest moves of free agency are done and behind us.  Now, as the last waves of free agency are set to get underway, teams will work to fill the backends of their roster with quality depth.  Some teams will shoot big and try to find a starter or two during the final waves as well.  The Denver Broncos have done their heaving lifting and should make another move or two.

However, there are still a plethora of very talented players left on the market.  Denver and George Paton should not shy away from bringing in other players who could contribute immediately.

This is especially true when you consider that Denver will be without their own first and second-round picks for this draft.

Any chance they had at drafting an impact player with their higher draft picks has greatly lessened. Their first pick is at 64, which was the Rams’ pick originally in the Von Miller trade.

While there is still a chance Denver could fill a hole immediately with this pick, it is not super likely.

Denver still has cap space and can still create more if needed, so here are three more free agents Denver should consider signing.

Three more free agents for Denver Broncos to target

1. Bobby Wagner, LB

This name has been thrown around within Broncos Country since his release.

After 10 successful seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, Bobby Wagner is a free agent.  The 8-time Pro Bowler and 6-time All-Pro has been the very best at his position for most of his career.

He obviously shares a connection with new quarterback Russell Wilson, and the fit with Denver could make sense, especially considering that Baron Browning is going to get a look at EDGE this coming season, which effectively leaves an opening at ILB.  Denver retained Josey Jewell, so he figures to be one starter, but the team now has an opening next to Jewell.

Re-signing Alexander Johnson makes a lot of sense, but signing Wagner is a higher reward move.

In his 10 year career, Wagner gas accumulated over 1,300 tackles, 23.5 sacks, 60 passes defended, and has only missed eight career games.

Wagner could give Denver a 2-3 year solution at the position and would continue the arms race in the AFC West.
