New Denver Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett continues to round out his coaching staff, and he is bringing in some big names from the football world.

Nathaniel Hackett clearly has a vision with his first coaching staff and it includes very few holdovers from the staff that trolled the sidelines in Denver last season.

It is expected that following the conclusion of Super Bowl LVI, the Denver Broncos will name Ejiro Evero, the current secondary coach of the Los Angeles Rams, as their new defensive coordinator.

Ejiro Evero will be joined by a familiar face from his days in Green Bay

Evero just turned 41 years old and will obviously be a little green in his new position, so the Broncos have decided to back him up with one of the more well-known defensive minds in recent NFL memory.

The Broncos have hired Dom Capers as a senior defensive assistant. Capers has a long and storied career dating back to the early 1970s. He was the first-ever head coach of the Carolina Panthers as well as the first-ever head coach of the Houston Texans.

More recently, he served as defensive coordinator for the Green Bay Packers from 2009-17. That is why this move is significant because it was there that Evero studied under him.

In addition to that move, the Broncos are expected to bring in Tyrone Wheatley to be the new running backs coach, replacing Curtis Modkins who is expected to take the same job with the Minnesota Vikings.

Though Wheatley has been in coaching since 2007, he is best remembered for his playing career.

Wheatley still ranks No. 5 on the all-time rushing yardage list at Michigan and following his college days, he was a first-round pick of the New York Giants and also played for the Miami Dolphins and Oakland Raiders.

Currently, Wheatley is the head coach at Morgan State University but he has been the running backs coach for both the Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars at the pro level.

Known for his tough, hard-nosed rushing style that he combined with elusive speed during his playing days, Wheatley will be an interesting addition to the Denver coaching staff.
