The Denver Broncos’ Week 18 game against the Chiefs is ultimately meaningless, but there are still players you should be excited to watch.
Nobody is really expecting much from the Denver Broncos in Week 18 of the NFL season, are they?
The Broncos are just another team that has been eliminated from playoff contention with major question marks about the future, starting with the team’s ownership, the coaching situation, and perhaps most important of all — the quarterback position.
Still, just like a preseason game but with much better competition on the other side, Week 18 of the NFL season will serve as our final evaluation tool of the 2021 campaign for a roster that is, frankly, pretty darn awesome.
The Broncos have a plethora of talent on both sides of the ball and even with some players going on IR to close out the season (namely, Kareem Jackson, Teddy Bridgewater, and Dalton Risner) along with the potential of guys landing on the COVID list, there are a lot of players worth keeping your eyes out for on Saturday (not Sunday, don’t forget) at 2:30 MT.
This final home game for the Denver Broncos could ultimately just become a who’s who of players and coaches who won’t be around in the coming weeks. Still, I think most of the guys in uniform will be back in 2022, at least a lot that are part of the core of the team.
And there are plenty of players to be excited about watching on an individual basis.
Let’s take a look through a handful of guys you should be excited to get the chance to see play one more time this season.
