As many of us look ahead to the 2022 season, all eyes will yet again be on the quarterback position, and what George Paton will do to fix it.

Two things can be true at once; Teddy Bridgewater is not the long-term answer for the Denver Broncos at the quarterback position, and Teddy Bridgewater is also the best quarterback the team has had since Peyton Manning.

Teddy Bridgewater has been exactly what he’s been his entire career for the Denver Broncos in 2021.  In fact, I could argue he’s been better than what he’s done since being drafted in 2014.

Whatever you think of Teddy Two Picks, it’s safe to say he is not the long-term answer, and I truly do not believe General Manager George Paton thought so.

However, there is a scenario where Teddy is brought back in 2022 and brought back to start for the Denver Broncos.

There are also scenarios where he is not re-signed in free agency, and the Broncos acquire a more notable, better quarterback.

Yes, the Broncos are still firmly in the AFC playoff hunt at 6-6, but they are not scaring anyone.  The defense has played better as of late, but the offense continues to be underwhelming, aside from Javonte Williams.

Whichever route George Paton decides to take going into the 2022 season, the signal-caller will have an embarrassment of riches on the offensive side of the ball, and hopefully, become the long-term option for the Broncos.

Let’s take a look at three quarterback scenarios for the Denver Broncos in 2022.
