The Denver Broncos (2-0) will have their first home game of the 2021 season on Sunday when the New York Jets (0-2) come to visit.

The Broncos lead the all-time series between the teams 21-16-1 but have dominated the series in recent years, winning six of the last eight meetings between the teams.

The Jets have rookie Zach Wilson getting introduced to the professional ranks the hard way as he is coming off of a four-interception game against the New England Patriots last week. Now he goes against a Broncos team that has an up-and-coming defense as well.

Will it get better for Wilson? It’s not likely that it will this week.

On paper, this looks like another easy win for the Broncos and, spoiler alert, it will be. The schedule does get much more difficult after this game but the Broncos will enjoy another big week that will have their fans talking about a 3-0 start.

What else will happen in this game?

The Broncos have a 100-yard rusher and 100-yard receiver

Courtland Sutton is coming off of a career day against the Jacksonville Jaguars last week and he will follow that up with another massive performance this week as he will cross the 100-yard barrier again.

But in addition to that, the Broncos will have a player going over 100 yards rushing as well and that will be rookie Javonte Williams, who seems ready for a breakout game. This will be it.

Williams will get the bulk of the work against the Jets and he will run for the first 100-yard game of his young career, further pushing Melvin Gordon to the back seat in the Denver offense.
