The Denver Broncos will join the rest of the NFL in cutting their rosters down to 80 players on Tuesday.

That means the team will need to let go of five players before the final cutdown to get to 53 player rosters by next Tuesday. Last week, the Broncos moved on from five players to get down to 85 players. Though none of those names brought with them the media storm of the Jacksonville Jaguars parting ways with Tim Tebow, it’s tough to have to let anyone go.

After two preseason games, it’s clear that there are several players who have earned a spot on the roster. Here’s our latest 53-man prediction.

With only one preseason game left, several players will be competing with their professional careers on the line. Unfortunately, that road, at least the road in Denver, will end on Tuesday.

Who will be the team’s next five cuts? Here are some ideas.

Adrian Killins, Running back

The Broncos jumped to claim Adrian Killins off waivers following an injury to LeVante Bellamy but the young, shifty runner was injured in Seattle and won’t be back any time soon.

The Broncos have a pretty clear picture at running back with Melvin Gordon, Javonte Williams and Royce Freeman and Mike Boone will be back shortly after the season starts.

The Broncos can ride Damarea Crockett in the preseason finale and then plan to use the other four backs in the season. Freeman’s name will be one that is constantly brought up in trade talks as the team moves forward with Gordon and the powerful rookie Williams.

Killins will be waived with some sort of injury settlement and will have to look to continue his career elsewhere.
