The Denver Broncos will face the Seattle Seahawks on Saturday night in preseason game number two.

The Broncos came out of the preseason gate on fire last week, putting a 33-6 thumping on the Minnesota Vikings. Regardless of who the team was playing against, the Broncos looked sharp in just about every facet of the game and both quarterbacks, particularly Drew Lock, played well.

Against Seattle, Teddy Bridgewater is slated to get the start and the Broncos will have a close eye on the quarterback competition, which could easily be answered after this game.

The other area the team will be focusing on will be players battling it out for a roster spot and with only two preseason games remaining, time is running out to do so.

Things could easily change based on how things shake out in Seattle, but as of right now, here is my projection for which players will be part of the team’s final 53-man roster.

The Broncos would probably like to keep Brett Rypien around, but they have a good, experienced backup in Teddy Bridgewater if they choose to start Drew Lock. Rypien would probably be stashed on the practice squad if not claimed by another team.

Lock and Bridgewater will be the guys this year for Denver and many fans and analysts believe that regardless of which one wins the starting job, both will see the field this year.

Saturday’s preseason game should go a long way in determining who will be the starter and Vic Fangio should really not waste too much more time in making that announcement.

Lock looked great last week and Bridgewater likely needs a similar performance to stay in contention to be the starter.
