As the 2021 NFL season draws even closer, preseason discussion and debates rage on surrounding the Denver Broncos. Of course, two huge topics continue to be Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay drama, and the new-look Broncos secondary.

However, players that won’t always be talked about are the guys who will likely spend most of their time on the sideline come Week 1 — the guys who won’t get starting snaps. Of course, we are talking about the guys not sitting at #1 in their respective positions on the depth chart.

While the non-starters may not be the hot topic of most Denver Broncos’ related discussions right now, they should be. After the Broncos were plagued by the injury bug in 2020, with numerous players of notoriety on Injured Reserve by Week 17, it’s worth taking a look into who could be the next man up if the Broncos see even close to the same issues they struggled with last season.

Even if the starters remain healthy, there are many non-starters who could still have the opportunity to make an impact on this Broncos roster.
