Amara Darboh, Wide receiver

Though he was just recently signed, Amara Darboh is a guy who could emerge from the jam-packed wide receiver room with a spot on the roster.

The Broncos have 15 wide receivers on the current 90-man roster and are clearly looking for someone to step up and join the likes of Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, K.J. Hamler, and Tim Patrick on the roster.

So far, Kendall Hinton has done that and will push all summer for a spot on the team. But Darboh, a player with more NFL experience than most of the other receivers on the roster, could do the same.

Darboh has overcome tough odds before.

The biggest question when it comes to the wide receiver position for the team, at least as it relates to the depth at the position behind the guys we know will make the team, is whether or not the team will keep a player mainly for their abilities as a returner, like Diontae Spencer.

I am a proponent of not doing that, especially if a player steps up and shows they can be more of a help in the passing game. Darboh, who has good size and NFL experience on his side, could be that guy.

There will be a lot of murky waters for any receiver trying to work their way up this depth chart, but beyond those first four names mentioned, any of these guys could do just that.

Darboh did enough during a recent tryout to convince the team to offer him a contract and he will be a player to watch this summer.
