The Denver Broncos locked up Garett Bolles at left tackle near the end of the season. He solidified the left side and becoming one of the better redemption stories of 2020.

This is what makes this particular player at tackle fascinating. Christian Darrisaw played strictly at the left tackle spot and does project there in 2021 on an NFL roster. Yet, given his athleticism and willingness to get better, it makes me wonder if he is capable of also being a solid right tackle.

Darrisaw is a tremendous player at tackle who excels in all phases of his craft. In the run game and pass pro, he makes his presence felt. He peaked at the right time of his career and because of that, it is never too late to consider him still at the right tackle.

He is so gifted and dominant it begs question of where he is ranked with Penei Sewell/Rashawn Slater. He very well might not be in their tier, but there’s at least a conversation to be had as a sound prospect. Darrisaw very easily could come into Denver and be an upgrade which at the very least needs to be the conversation anyway regarding right tackle.

From the right tackle point of view and any position, Denver needs to look at every group and ask if there are upgrades to make. There are multiple players in the draft that are clear cut upgrades and especially at the tackle position.

The running back position is the one up for most debate given Phillip Lindsay and Melvin Gordon are on the roster. Christian Darrisaw, Penei Sewell, Rashawn Slater, and Alex Leatherwood are upgrades in my eyes.

Due to this, they should be considered as improvements to what they already have on the roster.
