Azeez Ojulari, EDGE, Georgia

Azeez Ojulari is one of the two edge rushers we will outline in this slideshow and there are more prospects to consider in the first few rounds. One other is Kwity Paye.

Paye is strongly considered to be a top candidate to be drafted in the first half of the first round. We will outline Ojulari here and then another prospect later.

Ojulari is a freak athlete who can get to a quarterback with absolutely no off switch. He can create pressure with ease.

There are still areas to Ojulari’s game he will need to iron out, but he has incredible potential to find himself inside the first round quickly. The NFL Combine is one of the places he can show it. If Denver does draft Ojulari this will be another edge rusher prospect to Vic Fangio’s defense.

Leonard Floyd was another he worked with while in Chicago. Floyd was one of those gifted pass rushers who never reached potential but proved to be a valuable contributor to a defense. Ojulari may be a Floyd or be something more. It’s up to him to tap into it.

Some view him as a 3-4 edge rusher or 4-3 edge rusher. Most draft evaluations right now list Ojulari in a 4-3 scheme. Defensive guru Vic Fangio could utilize him well to maximize his full potential with Denver.
