Cameron McGrone, LB, Michigan

This is a wild card right now. As of right now, Cameron McGrone is targeted to go in the middle rounds of the mock draft simulation. McGrone is too talented athletically to sit in the 4th-6th rounds.

There is so much to love about how he moves to a football. When McGrone diagnoses a play well it jumps off the page. There are only 10 starts on his ledger but the potential is jaw-dropping.

McGrone has sideline to sideline range to be an elite linebacker. Frankly, it is laughable McGrone is finding his way in the middle rounds. He is too gifted a player to be available there. If McGrone lands in Denver, he will be something special in the Mile High City.

Fangio could grow him into a real player at the inside linebacker position. With his sideline to sideline athleticism, he also brings the coverage capacity to stick to weapons coming out of the backfield.

His flexibility at linebacker is pretty rare. Despite just a 10-game sample size, McGrone will be a fast riser in this draft. McGrone will need more grooming past the small sample size but put him on a roster who wants him like Denver and watch him grow. I

f he lands with a defensive-minded who knows how to use him he can potentially be a superstar in the future.
