Denver Broncos Week 15 Power Rankings Roundup

NFL.com: The Broncos made a pretty big jump this week in NFL.com power rankings, going from 24th overall in week 14 to 20th this week. Dan Hanzus, the writer of these power rankings for the website, praised offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur for his play calling, specifically the two touchdown tosses to K.J. Hamler. Also, will this offseason be filled with a lot of rumors and discussions? Of course. But finishing out the 2020 season strong would be huge for the Broncos.

CBS Sports: Denver made a two-spot jump this week, landing at 22 on CBS Sports’ power rankings for week 15. Drew Lock gave the Broncos and their fans reason to be excited. Now it’s up to him and the team to continue providing that optimism going forward.

Sporting News: Sporting News has the Broncos at the 23rd spot in week 15, after having them at 25 last week. They question whether or not people were expecting too much of Drew Lock this year after a short—but impressive—2019 debut season. Was his performance against Carolina enough to convince the Broncos to give him another year in the huddle?

ESPN: Jeff Legwold put the Broncos at 22nd overall after last week’s 23rd overall placement. Legwold points out that the Broncos have thrown more interceptions than any other team in the league. They have a turnover margin of minus-18, which is last in the league. They have thrown 21 interceptions this year, which is five more than the next-worst. That is a big area of concern.
