Denver Broncos stock down

Duke Dawson Jr., DB

Like much of the secondary, Duke Dawson found himself at a disadvantage as the Broncos’ defense battled to fend off the ever-aggressive and successful Chiefs’ offensive march.

However, not only did Dawson get burned on a few occasions, he put the Broncos in a bad position when he was slapped with an unnecessary roughness penalty, giving the Chiefs an extra 15 yards, which was unneeded, especially considering that the Chiefs had no problem moving the ball at their own accord.

These types of penalties are absolutely brutal, especially when the game is in reach.

Although this wasn’t necessarily the fatal blow for the Denver Broncos, it certainly did not help matters. Dawson must be more disciplined going forward.
