Broncos injuries keep piling up

The Denver Broncos have seen quite a few injuries this season. And that is putting it lightly. You can now add another name to the list. Mike Purcell has been ruled out for the remainder of the season due to a Lisfranic injury. He suffered the injury during the loss against the Kansas City Chiefs. It was another blow to a defense that has looked really solid despite the losses of Von Miller and Jurrell Casey.

That was not the only loss during that game. Derek Tuszka was placed on injured reserve earlier in the week due to a hamstring injury. It just seems like a never-ending story when it comes to the injuries for the Broncos.

Both teams dealing with positive COVID tests

In the current state of the world that we live in, the coronavirus has really made a huge impact in our daily lives. For the Chargers, it has forced a practice session to be cut short. An offensive guard for the Los Angeles Chargers was placed on the COVID list Thursday after testing positive for the virus.

As the current protocols go, everyone within contact were forced to self-quarantine. It appears as if it will not impact the game itself, but it will be something to monitor in the instance that more players and/or staff end up testing positive.

Denver is also dealing with some COVID related problems in Dove Valley as well. Graham Glasgow tested positive for the virus on Friday and will be forced to miss the game on Sunday. Two other offensive linemen were in contact with Glasgow, but have both tested negative.

If they both test negative on Saturday, they will play on Sunday.
