The Denver Broncos will face Tua Tagovailoa when they square off against the Miami Dolphins.

The Dolphins named Tua Tagovailoa their starting quarterback going forward and that means that the Denver Broncos will face him in just over a month. It comes as a surprise based off of the fact that the Dolphins are currently in second place in the AFC East.

However, this could be viewed as somewhat good news for the Broncos.

For one, the fact that Tagovailoa was named the starter this early will give the Broncos a lot of film to prepare for him when the two teams meet on November 22nd. That would allow them to focus on his tendencies.

Tagovailoa was the fifth overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. The Broncos will have to be very stout in the defensive secondary when facing him as he doesn’t really get rattled by pressure. If there is an open receiver, he will find him.

Tagovailoa injured his hip and that would prove to be his final collegiate play.

When the two teams match up, it will be crucial for the Broncos to get a lot of pressure on the rookie. We found out against the Patriots how much of an impact getting pressure on the quarterback can be.

Meanwhile, the Broncos got Drew Lock back as their quarterback last week against the Patriots after the game got postponed a week. This ultimately gave them a chance at winning that game, which they were successful in doing.

The same will go for the Dolphins game. There is not a lot of experience at the quarterback position for the Broncos, but by the time the two teams meet up, Lock will have just a little bit more experience than Tagovailoa despite being drafted in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

So yes, the timing of this move is good news for the Broncos.
