5. Jerry Jeudy dazzles, struggles with drops

Jerry Jeudy’s route running is magnificent.

His footwork is borderline otherworldly.

Still, you can have the best footwork and route running in the world, but you have to make sure you catch the football.

Jeudy dropped two key passes in this game on perfect throws from Drew Lock. His dropped pass in the fourth quarter when the Broncos were looking to kill clock and go for a slow scoring drive was as critical as any mistake made in this game.

Some of the things Jeudy can do out there before and after the catch are just awesome to watch. He’s a big-time weapon for the Broncos and will continue to be.

I’m certain he will be hitting the jugs machine early and often this week as Jeudy takes pride in his craft and knows that his drops were crucial in this game.

Rookies are allowed to make mistakes early on. Even with some concentration drops, Jeudy’s talent is undeniable and his impact for the Broncos will be tremendous. It will be great to see him out there with Courtland Sutton getting even better matchups to all levels of the field.
