The ultimate team game is made up of key individual matchups. The Broncos must win these two for a victory on Monday night versus the Tennessee Titans.

Each week, games are more often lost then won and are decided based on only a handful of plays. In order for the Denver Broncos to come away with a victory against the Tennessee Titans in Week 1, these players must win their individual matchup.

This week was going to be tough from the onset as the Titans bring a physical style of play along with freshly signed Jadaveon Clowney and reigning rushing champion Derrick Henry.

Everything got a bit tougher as Super-Bowl MVP Von Miller suffered an injury putting him out indefinitely. Two days later, Pro-Bowl receiver Courtland Sutton sprained the A/C joint in his shoulder in practice.

When the oddsmakers in Vegas begin to doubt Denver in this matchup, not all is lost. If the Broncos win these two key matchups, a victory is absolutely obtainable.

I will present one key matchup for the Broncos offense, and one key matchup for the Denver defense for this week’s game Monday Night.
