Talib’s Pivotal Performance in the AFC Championship

While Talib had many stellar and noteworthy performances in the Super Bowl 50 season, none were probably as memorable as his performance in the 2015 AFC Championship game against the New England Patriots in Denver.

In the year that he was ranked 34th amongst his peers on the NFL Top 100 list, Talib came in majorly clutch to send the Broncos to the Super Bowl. In a game that was neck and neck until the very end, it would come down to Tom Brady and the Patriots to make one more play to keep the game alive.

Broncos Country was holding their breath. They knew that worst case scenario was Tom Brady having the ball at the end of the game.

They had seen this movie before.

However, Talib used his biggest dose of Mile High Magic. Talib would tip Brady’s pass to Rob Gronkowski on the two-point conversion, tipping it right to teammate Bradley Roby who got the interception, ending New England’s Super Bowl aspirations.

The rest is history.
