What are the Denver Broncos’ options to replace Von Miller for 2020?

Losing Von Miller is less of a bad situation for the Denver Broncos and more of a pure nightmare.

With Bradley Chubb already on a ‘pitch count’ or some kind of ambiguous limitation to open the 2020 season, it was already clear that the Denver Broncos were going to need Miller healthy and raising all boats as he always does and has.

A season-ending injury to the team’s best and most important player? That’s crushing.

Von Miller is the heartbeat of the Denver Broncos. The team will have to find a way to win games without him in 2020, which is going to be very, very tough.

Miller also has a contract option in 2021 that made his status with the team moving forward a question mark anyway. Hopefully that situation doesn’t get ugly either or this will go from bad, to worse, to miserable.

It’s going to be tough, Broncos fans, but the team will press forward. What are their options now?

They already lost young Justin Hollins on waivers to the Los Angeles Rams and the top free agent option — Jadeveon Clowney — was just signed by the Broncos’ week one opponent over the weekend.

The timing of this, on top of everything, couldn’t be worse.

So how do the Broncos move on from here? Who do they bring in?

You’re not replacing Von Miller at this juncture, but they have to do something. Let’s take a look at the options.
