A former fourth-round pick out of Colorado, Tedric Thompson’s time with the Seattle Seahawks didn’t end on an overly positive note.

He played in six games in 2019 before he was benched and eventually placed on injured reserve with a torn labrum.

Just 25 years old, Thompson may yet have something to offer an NFL team and heading back to the state of Colorado, he could discover it.

The Broncos have a couple of the best developers of unheralded defensive back talent in Vic Fangio and Ed Donatell. With the team’s current lack of depth at safety, if Thompson is healthy he might be worth a shot as a developmental type of player.

Even though he was benched last year when the Seahawks traded for Quandre Diggs, Thompson has picked off three passes in his last 20 NFL games.
