Denver Broncos: Top 10 achievements in team history
9. 2014 Free Agency Class
The Broncos scored big during the 2014 free agency class.
The additions the team made had already had a tremendous impact in the league prior to signing with the team.
The major free agent signings the team made this year were:
- DeMarcus Ware
- Emmanuel Sanders
- T.J. Ward
- Aqib Talib
Those four players also were among some of the best free agent signings of the team, ever.
DeMarcus Ware was a first-round pick of the Dallas Cowboys in 2005 and by the end of his tenure there, he made it to seven-straight Pro Bowls, starting in just his second season. He added two more as a member of the Broncos.
Ware was still a force to be reckoned with as he made his way to the Broncos. In Denver, he recorded 80 tackles, 21.5 sacks, and a forced fumble. Ware was so dominant alongside the younger pass rusher, Von Miller.
Emmanuel Sanders was another part of the 2014 free agency class and was so amazing alongside Demaryius Thomas for a number of years.
This free agency group really propelled the Broncos after a Super Bowl loss in the 2013 season to a Super Bowl win in the 2015 season.
