No one could have anticipated that Courtland Sutton would emerge as quickly as he did in just his second NFL season. With his rise to stardom, the Broncos took it upon themselves to take the pressure off of Sutton by drafting Jerry Jeudy and give Drew Lock a successful duo capable of bringing instant impact on day one.

It now becomes a “pick your poison” type of offense when you add Jeudy to the mix with Sutton, Noah Fant, and another high draft pick — KJ Hamler.

With Sutton primed for another 1,000-yard season, he is expected to still receive an ample amount of double coverage. This could lead to Jeudy seeing plenty of touches in the Broncos offense.

There’s also a possibility Jeudy will be Lock’s first read during his progressions on a lot of plays. Due to Jeudy’s elusive and sharp route running, he can win immediately after the snap. This quick release gives him numerous chances to see targets.

The Broncos with both Sutton and Jeudy have the makings to be dynamic in just their first year together. This means Sutton and Jeudy will have 1,000-plus yards between the two of them. It will be special chemistry that is capable of lingering for many years.
