Guard

The guard position has been a problem for the Broncos offense. They have addressed it in the last two years, though.

After 2018’s rotation of Ronald Leary, Billy Turner, and Max Garcia, the Broncos now have starters at all positions on the offensive line, including that guard spot. They drafted Dalton Risner last year, who ended up playing at left guard. Risner did very well and solidified his spot in the starting lineup.

It is going to be interesting to see how much Risner improves from year one to year two. It will also be interesting to see if Graham Glasgow can fit in at right guard immediately or if it will take some time.

The offensive line is a group that should always have continuity. Guard has been taken care of. Now the question continues to be at both tackle spots, where Garett Bolles is entering what could be his final year in Denver, and Ja’Wuan James hopes to have a healthy second year at right tackle.
