Denver Broncos: The 3-game stretch team must capitalize on
A team on the rise in the mind of many, the Denver Broncos have to become a team capable of winning the games they “should” win in order to get over the hump or mediocrity.
With the 2020 schedule now officially released, we can start the dissecting of the schedule by talking about the toughest stretch of games and the most intriguing games on the slate, and here, we will discuss what should be considered the most winnable three-game stretch on the schedule.
The most winnable stretch of games for the Broncos comes in Weeks 9-11:
Week 9: at Atlanta Falcons
Week 10: at Las Vegas Raiders
Week 11: vs. Los Angeles Chargers
Yes, two of these games are on the road, but they come against teams that should be less than competitive in 2020. Of course, the NFL is always a surprise, so either of those teams could be playoff contenders as well.
In Week 9, the Broncos will head to Atlanta, where they actually have a winning record at 4-3 all-time. This will be the first time the team has played inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The Falcons play in the NFC South, one of the toughest divisions in football and are coming off back-to-back 7-9 seasons. But the most important factor in this game is that the Broncos will be coming off of their bye week and have two weeks to prepare for this matchup.
The Falcons will be coming off of a Thursday night game, so they will have extra time to recuperate as well, but if the Broncos want to figure into the playoffs in 2020, this is a game they need to win.
Week 10 brings the first-ever trip to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and as things currently stand, this is probably the toughest game of the three mentioned here.

It’s the Raiders and it’s a road game. The silver and black will look to pull out all the stops to trip up the Broncos in their first trip into the team’s magnificent new stadium but even with that in mind, the Broncos need to find a way to grind out the Raiders and win this game.
In Week 11, the Broncos will host the Chargers and though the Bolts have some solid pieces on the defensive side of the ball, there are serious questions on offense, specifically at the quarterback position.
Whether it’s Tyrod Taylor or Justin Herbert that the Broncos face in this game, the Broncos need to take it to this team. Looking at how the AFC West currently stacks up, the argument can easily be made that the Chargers are the worst team in the division.
If the Broncos could go 3-0 in these three games, they would be in a real position to make a playoff push in the last month of the season.
