He becomes the steal of the draft so far

In most of what I have read, Lloyd Cushenberry was set to be a late first-round, possibly early second-round draft selection. The fact that the Broncos were able to get him in the middle of the third round could perhaps be the steal of the draft so far.

As day two of the draft went on, I was starting to get concerned that the Broncos were not making the moves to get the players that they needed to fill those gaps on the roster. But as the board continued to fall, the more hopeful I started to get.

With three third-round picks, all I was hoping for was that Cushenberry would be available around the mid-third round. And did it end up working out for the Broncos?

They were able to secure a major need on the offensive line at a spot where many, including me, thought he would be gone by then.

Denver does have a few more picks left in the NFL Draft, but having drafted Lloyd Cushenberry where they were able to get him is perhaps one of the biggest steals of the draft. They now have a center that can hopefully start for many, many years.
