After snagging their top wide receiver prospect, the Denver Broncos head into day two with four picks and plenty of needs. Here’s how those picks could go.

The number one need for the Denver Broncos in the 2020 NFL Draft was getting a number two wide receiver. Considering they landed their number one wide receiver prospect, Jerry Jeudy, with the 15th pick, we can consider day one a success for John Elway and the crew. As we look ahead tonight’s second and third round, what can they do to build on this success?

Quite a lot actually.

Armed with four picks in the next 63 selections, the Denver Broncos are in a fantastic opportunity to fill quite a few holes.

At this point, the holes that remain for the Broncos are WR (yes, another one), CB, IOL, Tackle, DL, and ILB. Basically, unless the Denver Broncos draft a quarterback, running back, or tight end, I’ll be pretty happy. I know I didn’t list safety there as a need, but I would even be okay with getting a safety considering the talent that is still available and the requirements of Vic Fangio’s defensive scheme to be a versatile defensive back.

With that being said, here are my projections for how tonight’s draft will shake out for the Denver Broncos.
