The Denver Broncos lost another game thanks to their horrible offense. Joe Flacco called out OC Rich Scangarello after the game.

The Denver Broncos posted another stinker on offense and somehow a third game ending in a loss thanks to a field goal in the final two minutes.

The Broncos’ offense is difficult to watch in general, but it’s gotten to the point that the players can’t even really take it anymore.

Emmanuel Sanders asked for a trade to a better team to help get his free agency value up, and the Broncos obliged. Sanders had previously talked about his frustrations with not getting the football and offensive coordinator Rich Scangarello talked about how they needed to get him the ball.

Now, quarterback Joe Flacco is calling out the offensive play-calling, specifically after the Broncos ran the ball up the middle on a 3rd-and-5 to try and ice the game against the Indianapolis Colts.

This is the first passion of any sort that we have seen from Joe Flacco amidst the Broncos’ struggles this season.

Flacco is not wrong here, but he’s also misdirecting some rage, I think.

Flacco is a major reason the Broncos were in the position they found themselves in late in the game. He seems completely incapable of moving this offense at an efficient rate, and it almost feels like it would be more productive for the Broncos’ offense to punt on third down because they can’t do much of anything on first or second.

Flacco is not seeing the field well. He’s not making many throws. He’s also not getting a lot of time to throw, but even if he has enough time to throw, Flacco is making poor reads and holding the ball too long.

He’s also got no mobility whatsoever.

Although the Broncos’ offensive woes can’t be pinned on just one player or one area of the team, it’s fair to say at this point that Flacco is not good and Rich Scangarello’s play-calling has been more than suspect.

As a matter of fact, Scangarello’s play-calling has been downright predictable to the point of being laughable. The lack of aggressiveness is maddening, but it’s also not completely Scangarello’s fault. He can’t have much confidence in his quarterback to get the job done at this point.

Everything is just a mess in Denver right now offensively, and neither Joe Flacco nor Rich Scangarello are helping things.
