The Denver Broncos have their first win of the season! Check out this week’s stock report to see whose stock is up and whose is down.

Broncos Country, it is a time to rejoice! The Denver Broncos have their first win of the 2019 season and reached a milestone as well: The 500th win in franchise history.

The Broncos are now 1-4, and while there is much work to be done, it seems that there may be light at the end of the tunnel, and the team appears to improve weekly. While it is unlikely that this team is playoff bound, the sky is perhaps not falling, after all.

Who balled out this week, and who needs improvement? Let’s take a look at the Denver Broncos’ Week 5 stock report.

Stock Up

Kareem Jackson, DB

Kareem Jackson returned in a huge way on Sunday.

Although questionable on the week five injury report, Jackson played and played big. He played huge in coverage and came up huge on red-zone defense, including his forced fumble of Austin Ekeler at the goal-line, a perfectly punched out ball that resulted in a turnover on downs and the conclusion of the first half.

It was clear last week that the Broncos’ defense missed Jackson, and his performance against the Chargers made it easy to see why.

So far, Jackson has been a stellar addition to the Broncos. Hopefully, he will keep this tempo up throughout the season and can remain healthy from this point on.
