Week one of the NFL season has come and gone, and Broncos Country, we know last night was not what you anticipated or hoped for.

Us either.

In case you missed last night, the Oakland Raiders shut out the Denver Broncos in the first half and came away with a 24-16 victory, although the game never felt that close.

Oakland was in the driver’s seat the entire game and played about as well as one could ask for.

Denver, on the other hand, did not.

Let’s break down the winners and losers from Monday’s nights Broncos-Raiders matchup. We will start with the players whose stock is down and conclude with the ones on the rise.

Stock DOWN

Isaac Yiadom, CB

Starting in the place of the injured Bryce Callahan, Yiadom was targeted 10 times throughout the night. While the defense as a whole struggled, Yiadom was absolutely abused by guys like Darren Waller and Tyrell Williams. Yiadom allowed big chunks of yardage, often setting the Raiders up in Broncos territory and finished the night with zero passes defended.

While Yiadom is not meant to start and plays in the place of Callahan, his performance Monday night was highly disappointing and should be alarming to Vic Fangio and the coaching staff.

If Callahan is a no-go for a while, Yiadom is surely to get picked on by other QB’s and the secondary could be in a lot of trouble if Yiadom does not improve or the Broncos do not look to another solution.

It is vital that one or the other happens, as the CB3 spot is likely to be picked on with the likes of Chris Harris Jr and Kareem Jackson on the field. Things could get back quickly if a solution for Yiadom is not found.
