Which Denver Broncos undrafted players have made the strongest impression through training camp and two preseason games so far?

The Denver Broncos have a storied history of developing high-quality undrafted free agents.

When I was a kid, it was Rod Smith. Rod Smith is the best wide receiver in the history of the team, and quite possibly is also the best undrafted receiver in NFL history. The fact that he was undrafted was a chip Smith carried throughout his career, but I feel that extra motivation was part of what made him great.

You see that same thing in some of today’s players like Chris Harris Jr., who was undrafted out of Kansas in 2011 and is still one of the more underrated players in the league today.

Phillip Lindsay was infamously never invited to the NFL Scouting Combine. He blew up his pro day at Colorado and still wasn’t picked by any of the 32 teams in the league.

While not getting drafted is not the ideal situation for these players who work hard to get drafted, it’s really cool for us as fans to be able to talk about how the Broncos found these diamonds in the rough.

Who is next in line? The Broncos have a massive class of 2019 UDFAs and a few who could end up making the final 53-man roster.

By the way, here’s my latest prediction on the 53-man roster with some of the injuries the team has suffered in the last couple of weeks.

Let’s take a look at which undrafted rookies are most likely to be part of the active roster at the start of the 2019 regular season.
