Will Parks

Age: 24 (Turns 25 in July)

2019 Salary Cap hit: $2 million

Years under contract: 1

Similar to Justin Simmons, Will Parks is entering his final year of his rookie contract with the Denver Broncos. If there is one player that will benefit from Darian Stewart’s departure in 2019, it is Will Parks.

In his three seasons, he has recorded three interceptions. Now that he will likely be placed in the starting lineup, we should see his numbers climb up a bit in 2019. They will certainly have to if he wants to remain with the Denver Broncos after this season.

His most successful season came during the abysmal 2017 season, where he recorded 51 tackles. In 2018, he made a huge play in Week 12 against the Steelers where he tackled the Pittsburgh ball carrier, forcing a fumble that would go out of bounds for a touchback. It ended up being a key play that led to a Denver Broncos win.

2019 should hopefully be a strong year for Will Parks. Time to see if he can take advantage of the prime opportunity in front of him.
