An expert from FanSided predicts that Denver Broncos OLB Bradley Chubb will finish the year with more sacks than Von Miller.

Both Von Miller and Bradley Chubb had outstanding 2018 seasons for the Denver Broncos. Miller finished the year with 14.5 sacks while Chubb ended his rookie year with twelve.

A FanSided expert came up with five bold predictions. One of them was that Bradley Chubb will end 2019 with more sacks than Von Miller.

It honestly is hard to imagine that this will come to fruition. Not because Chubb is not a great player, but because Von Miller is. He has recorded 10+ sacks in all of his seasons in the league except one, when he missed several games.

You can certainly make the argument that Miller may be slowed down due to getting older. But will we see a significant difference in his play from last season because of age? I don’t think so. Not yet. He turned 30-years old this year, and has a lot of gas left in the tank.

Recently, I wrote an article on Miller’s chances of becoming the NFL’s all-time sack leader when his career comes to an end.

I strongly believe that both Miller and Chubb will have yet another fantastic year together with the Denver Broncos. If anything, Miller is going to continue teaching Chubb some new things and help him improve as a player. Together, they can be a dominating duo for years to come.

In his prediction, Rucker Haringey says the Broncos are going to struggle to win games, which will mean opponents will run the football more and not allow sacks to happen.

That is certainly possible, but I feel as if the Broncos will have more fight in them this year than they have had the last couple of seasons. Signs are pointing towards a culture change for the team under new head coach Vic Fangio.

I also think that the secondary could have an impact on the results Miller and Chubb produce.

When it is all said and done, though, I don’t think we will see a declining Von Miller, nor do I see him being second on the team in terms of sacks.
