7. Drafting Dalton Risner

The Denver Broncos needed a starting offensive lineman in the 2019 NFL Draft, and they probably needed to use one of their top two or three picks to get one.

There were nine offensive linemen picked before the Broncos were on the clock in the second round, and shockingly, none of those nine were Kansas State All-American Dalton Risner.

Risner, a Wiggins, CO native who grew up loving Denver Broncos football gets a chance to go back to his home state as a pro ball player and work for Mike Munchak.

The fact that the Broncos were able to get Risner in the second round is crazy enough, but the fact that he was the 10th offensive lineman off the board?

Fate.

Risner will step in as a starting guard and I think he’s going to play in the NFL for a decade or longer.
