Prediction

It is the final game of the 2018 season. I do not think it goes without saying that it is a bittersweet ending. While we do not want to see the season end, it will be a relief when it does.

A season that showed some promise at points became a huge letdown. I know I was excited when playoffs were being discussed for this team. Hanging in games that Denver had no business being in provided hope. But it came crashing down when the Broncos lost to teams that they honestly should not have lost to.

It would be a great end if the Broncos are able to beat the Chargers. It would also prevent the Broncos from finishing the season with back-to-back seasons losing double digit games. A win puts Denver at 7-9 while a loss puts them at 6-10.

As much as I do not want to see double digit losses, I think that will end up happening. With the injuries and the Chargers having something to play for, Los Angeles will impose their will on the Broncos.

I do not like being a negative Ned, but I just do not see a win. It will be close, but with the possibility of the number one seed at hand, Phillip Rivers and the Chargers will get it done.
