Punters are people too: Colby Wadman, P

The Broncos’ odd decision to cut Marquette King after making him such a priority in the offseason led them to Colby Wadman, a rookie out of UC Davis.

Wadman had some stinkers early in the season, but has recently become a major weapon for Denver and has his season averages climbing significantly.

Wadman recently received a game ball after the Broncos beat the Cincinnati Bengals when he pinned Cincinnati and their young quarterback deep in their own territory consistently.

As a matter of fact, the Bengals’ average starting field position after Wadman’s punts was their own 12 yard line, and another punt of his was muffed and recovered by the Broncos.

He flipped field position against the Steelers really well also, giving the Broncos’ defense a chance to keep thme in the game with their ability to force and create turnovers.
