Out of the top 10 (picks)

Heading into the Chargers game, the Broncos were 3-6 and looking at rising potentially into the top five selections of the 2019 NFL Draft.

They entered the weekend holding the eighth overall selection in the draft and had a decent chance of moving up as high as fourth or fifth.

With all that transpired over the weekend, the Broncos’ win moved them out of the top 10 picks completely, now holding the 12th overall selection.

While many fans may be upset over the win resulting in a loss of draft status (what’s wrong with you?) this year’s draft class is not necessarily one to worry about.

The 2018 NFL Draft class had big name quarterback prospects at the top that the Broncos were supposedly vying for, and also some top flight defensive prospects that really stood out among the rest of the class.

As it turned out, the Broncos got the best defensive player in the draft.

This year’s draft class is not overly top heavy and has a ton of depth, specifically on the defensive line. The Broncos will be able to get a quality starter on the defensive side of the ball or on the offensive line with whatever selection they end up with in round one.
