Los Angeles Chargers @ Oakland Raiders

Baylor Bradac:

The Chargers get to play a fun trap game against their division rivals, the Raiders, in Oakland.

The Raiders always put up a fight against divisional opponents and if LA does come in prepared, they could be in for a tough day. However, I don’t believe that’s going to be an issue. LA has been rolling and are doing their very best to keep pace with KC, plus, they find themselves playing a 1-7 team.

This is a must win game for LA and they are going to come to play. Last week their defense sacked Russel Wilson four times, and Seattle has a much better line than Oakland. I expect a win again this week for the Bolts.

Graham Tiedtke:

The Los Angeles Chargers head into Oakland to face the last team in the AFC West: The Raiders. The Chargers are on a five-game win streak, which is a plus or them. However, those wins have come against teams that are not very good.

The teams that the Chargers defeated during their streak have a combined ten wins, so it’s obvious that they haven’t faced a true test since falling to the Los Angeles Rams 35-23.

In this game, the Chargers are a ten-point favorite, which is extremely high, but realistic. Oakland is just not a good team especially since they traded their best player, linebacker Khalil Mack, to the Chicago Bears. It has obviously turned out to be a costly mistake by Oakland.

Not to mention that they also traded their best offensive weapon, Amari Cooper, to the Dallas Cowboys.

This Raiders team is in rebuild mode and it is obvious that they are in competition for the number one overall pick in the 2019 draft.

The Chargers are a much better football team overall, and I would be shocked if, somehow, Oakland found a way to win.
