The Denver Broncos defeated the Oakland Raiders on Sunday. Here are some things we learned in the win.

There were some good things and there were some bad things in the Denver Broncos’ first matchup with the Oakland Raiders of the 2018 season.

It was by no means an easy win. This game came down to a 36-yard field goal with six seconds left.

There was a lot of good that came in the victory. It’s obvious this team will continue to get better each and every week as the season progresses. The Broncos are not at all perfect. They absolutely have improved from last year’s terrible season, though.

However, some of the new additions on the team have been great surprises. They proved that there is always room for improvement.

Last season, the Broncos went 5-11. They are, in my opinion, capable of reversing that record in 2018 or close at least. In order for that to happen, they will need to have the “one game at a time” mentality.

They cannot overlook any opponent they face. They can’t afford to assume that they are going to get an easy win. Those just don’t happen in the National Football League.

Yesterday, they barely got the win. It was a nail-biting thriller of a game, but that is part of the excitement. The Broncos aren’t going to win games by four touchdowns. That just isn’t what this team is set up to do.

But they are set up a lot better than the last couple of seasons. That should be exciting and promising for Broncos Country.

Here are some of the good things and the bad things in Sunday’s victory over the Oakland Raiders.
