The Denver Broncos snatched victory from defeat as they won their second game of the season against the Raiders. How did the three phases perform?

Denver opened up their divisional slate with a gutsy win against the Oakland Raiders. The first half of the game was certainly one to forget as the team just could not get in a rhythm. That was the same pace that was ran in the first game against the Seahawks.

The first few drives were not good. There were three and outs to be passed around for the first few minutes. Once the Broncos did get something going, Keenum would throw his fourth interception of the season.

It was a head scratcher as Jake Butt was double teamed. It was a first half to forget, as Sayre Bedinger briefly told everyone on the performance.

The second half was miles better than the first half. The team drove down on their first drive and scored a touchdown. It ended up becoming Royce Freeman’s first NFL touchdown.

The defense, mostly the coverage team, still has a lot of work. While Jared Cook was somewhat in check, he seemed to get a big catch when the Raiders were backed into a corner. The Broncos also did not get much help when they had three calls, two of them touchdowns come back because of overturned calls. The other was on a big catch by Courtland Sutton that was reversed to an incomplete pass.

But the team never gave up. They would go to outscore the Raiders 20-7 in the second half to come away with a victory.

Let us take a look at how all three phases performed in the game.
