Courtland Sutton, WR

The Broncos eased Courtland Sutton into action, yet made him an important piece of the offense.

He was targeted four times in the passing game (third-most on the team) and caught two passes for 45 yards. He managed to rack up 15 yards after the catch and showed a glimpse of his big-play ability.

Sutton was utilized on 44 offensive snaps, so I fully expect his usage to increase as the weeks roll along.

The two plays he made in this game were really nice, and he didn’t drop either of his two other targets from Case Keenum.

In the coming weeks, expect Sutton to get targeted more and perhaps even be featured on certain drives for the Broncos. His sample size was fairly limited in week one but he did a good job.

Final week one grade: B+
