Quarterback

Roster count: Three

Case Keenum
Paxton Lynch
Chad Kelly

Check out our full quarterback position preview here.

The Broncos may keep just two quarterbacks, but that will be strictly based off performance.

Case Keenum is a lock to make the roster and Paxton Lynch’s contract seems to indicate he is as well, but the Broncos will need to make sure he’s making necessary strides over the next month.

If both Lynch and second-year player Chad Kelly play well in camp and the preseason, the Broncos would be foolish to compromise their quarterback depth with guys who know the offense simply to add another player elsewhere on the roster.

Ultimately, I think they will keep all three of these guys as I expect Kelly to perform well in the preseason.
