Denver Broncos rookie linebacker Bradley Chubb is a big hit in regards to overall jersey sales. He ranks 7th overall in this week’s jersey sale numbers…

Coming in seventh in jersey sales for the third week in June is Denver Broncos rookie Bradley Chubb. This comes just short of two months since he was drafted by the team with the fifth overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.

After the Browns drafted Denzel Ward, the Broncos drafted Bradley Chubb.

The players whose jerseys sold more were, in order: New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley,  Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz, Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott, Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, Broncos linebacker Von Miller, and Chicago Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky.

Rounding out the top ten in jersey sales are Jets quarterback Sam Darnold at eight, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady at nine, and Bills rookie quarterback Josh Allen, at ten.

Chubb’s jersey sales ranked 25th last week. This is a big jump for a player who has yet to play a snap in a regular season NFL game.

Training camp is just around the corner, but we’re not even in July yet. That makes Chubb’s jersey ranking even more impressive.

The more Chubb plays and performs at a high level, Broncos fans will likely become intrigued to buy his jersey. That will create the opportunity for him to climb the rankings.

The Broncos have a ton of stars on defense. They also have some leaders, such as Von Miller, Derek Wolfe, and Chris Harris Jr. The presence of these vets could mean a quick development for Chubb, which should help turn him into one of the best linebackers in the entire league.

Chubb will likely continue getting recognition on the Broncos defense. Therefore, I could see Chubb climbing into the top three in jersey sales.

Some consider Chubb the best defensive player coming out of the 2018 draft class. So, it is no surprise that fans want to buy his jersey.
