Jordan Taylor will be out while he recovers from hip surgery. With the roster stacked with wide receivers, how will his injury impact his roster chances?

The Denver Broncos have made it apparent that they are ready to get back to their championship ways. Jordan Taylor is hoping that his contributions can provide the team with his skills. It will take a while until we can see that as he will be forced out of Organized Team Activities.

We all know Jordan Taylor as the wide out that helped Peyton Manning when he was recovering from his injury in 2015. He was a big time target for Trevor Siemian during the 2016 season. His numbers may not show it, but he has made some good plays.

With the Broncos drafting Courtland Sutton and DaeSean Hamilton, Taylor is in an odd spot. Hip surgery takes a long time to recover from. Matt Paradis went through the same procedure last offseason. While Paradis did not have a lot of competition during his time away, Jordan Taylor does.

We all know Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders are making the final 53-man roster. But after that is anyone’s guess. It becomes so important to partake in every rep, every snap. A position that is so important to the quarterback, the Denver Broncos want to get it right.

The team expects Jordan Taylor to be ready by training camp at the least. The other receivers will have their reps in from OTA’s and will be ahead of the game by the time training camp rolls around.

Next: Jordan Taylor will not participate in OTA's

Jordan Taylor’s chances of making the final roster is possible. The experience is there. When it comes to the reps with a new quarterback, that is key. And building that chemistry is very important.

If Jordan Taylor plans on making the final 53, he will need to pick Case Keenum’s brain early while he is out and execute that during training camp.
