John Elway is very successful in finding these gems. Here are a few names that haven’t been mentioned yet.

Alright, Chris Harris Jr has already been mentioned, but he’s worth bringing up twice. Harris has been an All-Pro standout despite initially being the last roster addition coming out of the 2011 draft. He’s been such an integral part of Denver’s stalwart defense, Elway added extra incentives to his contract this offseason.

Fan favorite Jordan Taylor, was undrafted out of Rice. Rice isn’t exactly known as a football powerhouse, and Taylor didn’t exactly light it up either. He only garnered second team all-conference honors in Conference USA.

Shaquil Barrett spent his last two college seasons at local Colorado State University. While he had good college production, he slipped out of the draft due to small school and athleticism concerns. He recently signed his second round tender, and he is in line for a big pay day next offseason.

Bennie Fowler who just signed with the Chicago Bears, was signed as an undrafted free agent out of Michigan State. Fowler had the speed, but had an issue with drops coming out of college. Although this held true during his time in Denver, he carved out a niche as a depth wide receiver.

Kapri Bibbs had a historic collegiate career, breaking and tying many records along the way. He signed with Denver and had a few bright spots before getting traded to San Francisco for a draft pick.
