Defense & Von Miller

I think the Vikings have a very good defense.

I also believe the Jets have a pretty good young defense to offer.

That said, the Denver Broncos have a championship defense. This is a defense that, despite the poor play of the offense in 2017, still ranked near the top of the league in most major statistical categories.

The Broncos’ defense is still capable of completely shutting out opponents, as the Jets learned the hard way late last season.

Not only that, but the Broncos offer someone neither the Vikings nor Jets can — Von Miller.

Make no mistake about it — Von Miller is a big bargaining piece for the Broncos.

Miller is the superstar in Denver right now, but as we’ve seen on his Instagram, Twitter, and news appearances, he’s not too proud to beg for Cousins to come to Denver.

Having Cousins and Miller would give the Broncos a top 10 player at two of the most critical positions in the NFL (quarterback and pass rusher).

As good as the Vikings’ defense is, they don’t have a superstar of the caliber of Super Bowl 50 MVP Von Miller.
