With the possibility of the Denver Broncos moving on from Aqib Talib, the team is interested in finding their slot cornerback via free agency.

The Denver Broncos No Fly Zone has been one of the most talked about units in the last few years. Having the Super Bowl crew of Aqib Talib, Chris Harris Jr., Darian Stewart, and T.J. Ward was something to watch every Sunday afternoon.

T.J. Ward is now gone, Aqib Talib appears to be moving out, and Darian Stewart might not be around before training camp. That leaves Chris Harris Jr. and Bradley Roby from the 2015 Super Bowl squad left.

With many questions surrounding the cornerback position, the Denver Broncos are looking to find someone in free agency that could fill in that void, if that is the case.

As far as slot corners are concerned, Mike Klis mentions a few in his article. One name that intrigues me is Aaron Colvin over in Jacksonville. While he has not recorded an interception in his career (only interception was in a 2017 playoff game), he could be a solid option for the Broncos. We mentioned him briefly back in February.

Klis brings up Trumaine Johnson as an option for the Denver Broncos to add via free agency. I could honestly see that becoming a good option. He worked with Wade Phillips last season. He has three defensive touchdowns in his career and is only 28 years old.

I honestly do not want to see Aqib Talib leave in free agency. But if the Denver Broncos are looking to get back to the Super Bowl, they will look at all options to help them get their. I honestly think a restructure is still possible.
