The 2018 NFL Scouting Combine is well underway, and the Denver Broncos are prepping for a very exciting offseason. It all starts with free agency, but the 2018 NFL Draft is filled with prospects that can help this team build for the future.

What the Denver Broncos do in free agency will dictate how this team proceeds in the draft. That should be a given. The Broncos are expected to pursue Kirk Cousins in free agency, but they will not be alone, and that should be the first major domino to fall this offseason.

While everything really hinges on what happens with Cousins, this year’s draft class could — by itself — shape the future of the Broncos and help fill their most pressing needs.

Because we don’t know yet what’s going to happen in free agency, and we’ve done a number of Denver Broncos mock draft exercises with the thought that this team would sign this quarterback or that quarterback, we’re going to get at least one more in that doesn’t involve any projected signings.
